are so nimble and dynamic, and the excitement of the founders is contagious. When you work with , you're part of the team from day one, so you get particularly invested in their success, and excited for their achievements.

Launch Moment: I turned on the news one morning and they were reporting on the first surgery in the Boston area to deliver a therapeutic company's blindness treatment. The company, Spark Therapeutics, is a client of mine and we had recently completed a huge deal for them to license the ex-US rights to market the drug to Novartis. The coverage was great—the doctors called the treatment a miracle—and it was exciting to see some real-world implications of the work that we get to be a part of.

Representative Experience: I represent private companies in various stages of development, publicly traded companies, and investment firms that have a focus on tech and life sciences. I have represented clients in strategic alliances and licensing transactions, venture capital financings, IPOs, and acquisitions. Recently, I represented Aileron Therapeutics in its IPO; Accent Therapeutics, Disarm Therapeutics, Right Hand Robotics and Nantero in venture capital financings; MPM Capital, Samsara BioCapital and Spark Capital in ; and Voyager Therapeutics, MacroGenics, Editas Medicine and Spark Therapeutics in strategic collaboration and licensing transactions.

Daily Reads: I'm into podcasts and audiobooks (my eyes are tired when I get done with work!). Every morning I listen to NYT's The Daily, and I subscribe to a bunch of Slate and Panoply podcasts. The one I can't miss is The Waves from Slate.

Off the Clock: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and skiing, traveling, cooking and entertaining.

Funny Story: I was interviewed about Aruba tourism for Venezuelan MTV.
