There is an opportunity to shape the culture of the organization from the beginning and to provide structures and protections that will help the business as it evolves.
Representative Experience: I counsel clients on a variety of labor and employment issues, including compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws and regulations; hiring, firing, reductions in force; employment practices and policies; structuring the workforce (including the use of independent contractors and leased, part-time and temporary employees); and the labor and employment implications of mergers and acquisitions. Recently, I was a part of a team that achieved a precedent-setting victory in the Massachusetts Appeals Court for Teradyne following an eight-year battle in an employment discrimination case. I also achieved an important and hard-won victory for TransUnion Holding Company in a restrictive suit in the Southern District of New York.
