I really enjoy the entrepreneurial spirit and mindset that comes with working with startups and growth-oriented companies, and the opportunity to work very closely with a company’s senior management, board, key employees and other advisors. You have an opportunity to make a real difference, and it’s a great feeling when your client achieves success, whether it be commercial success or achievement of a significant operational, financial or strategic milestone.

Experience: I work with public and private companies, investment banks and investors on capital raising transactions of all types, including initial public offerings, private placements, and offerings of convertible securities, preferred equity and debt. I also advise public and private companies on general corporate, securities law, governance and disclosure matters, and in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions.

Off the Clock: When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two kids and our two dogs. And when I’m not doing that, I like to ski, play golf and paddle tennis and otherwise spend time outdoors, go to sporting events, and see live music (pretty much anything, but especially live rock and blues).

Currently Reading: Recent books read include Uncanny Valley and Bad Blood. Daily reads include The Wall Street Journal and NY Times, among many other news sources, and I’m addicted to Twitter.
