Experience: I focus on all tax issues related to structuring primary and secondary financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions for efficient tax results, taking into account qualified small business issues and equity compensation issues for early stage and VC financed companies through large public companies. I also spend significant time working with LLCs for early-stage companies and the related tax and equity compensation issues of LLCs. Also, my experience as a certified public accountant often helps address the intersection of concepts and tax concepts.
Off the Clock: I enjoy traveling, particularly to explore the culture of other countries. When you really spend time with people in other places and see different perspectives, it allows you work better with everyone.
