Experience: I have been immersed in the startup legal world in Silicon Valley for 16 years, 13 as an attorney and three as a corporate paralegal. I help emerging growth companies and venture investors in general corporate matters, Board governance, day-to-day operations, securities law compliance, venture capital and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions and fund formation. My clients operate across a number of industries: technology, software, life sciences, healthcare, logistics, fashion, and mental wellness. I enjoy watching my clients grow and growing with them. I also love when my clients come back to me with a new venture after a successful exit.

Memorable experience: The CEO of a longtime client that I helped since their early days was transitioning out of that startup. I had to negotiate his severance package on the other end of the table even though he was my principal contact at the client. Before the ink even dried on the documents after signing, he immediately called me and asked, “can you be my lawyer again?” and hired me for his next startup which has been a phenomenal success yet again.

Off the clock: I love to travel with my family, especially to Hawaii and I do hula! You can also catch me watching sports games live (Go Warriors)!

Memorable travel: My family and I traveled to Italy as a group of 17. My kids were two and four at the time and we were there for two weeks. My 2-year-old never adapted to the time zone, so as a consequence, we were nocturnal tourists who were only able to go out late at night and slept during the day. The upside was there were very few tourists out at midnight.
