Representative Experience: With more than 19 years of experience working with both venture capital firms and emerging companies, I represent clients in a broad range of industries, including e-commerce, mobile technologies, hardware, software, telecommunications, clean technology and life sciences. I also serve as outside general counsel on a variety of corporate matters, including contract negotiations, and financings, , equity compensation matters, securities laws compliance, protection of intellectual property, , and mergers and acquisitions. Recently, I helped the founding team of a healthcare IT work through restructuring of equity ownership after a founder decided to take a reduced role in the . I also helped founders of a wearables negotiate and close on a Series B financing.
 
Launch Moment: Helping a blockchain convert from a LLC to a corporation, so that the was in a good position to get institutional funding and more easily equity compensation to advisors and future employees.

Funny Story: My daughter got a hold of my iPhone one time and was able to change my firm picture to a picture she took of me just after I woke up one morning. I didn't realize she had made the change until I sent a few emails internally and noticed that the thumbnail picture next to my name was of me unshowered and unshaven with bedhead.
