I enjoy helping clients identify, enforce and protect their intellectual property with an emphasis on strategically building their patent portfolios and intellectual property litigation.

Representative Experience: I am an experienced IP attorney who has represented a variety of clients, particularly companies in the technical and medical fields such as Medtronic, Intel, Eastman Kodak Company, Broadcom, General Electric, Analog devices, Red Hat and PNC. I understand the challenges that companies like these face—as well as the excitement of building something new—because I was an engineer for eight years, and I got to work on projects like testing the NASA spacesuit and space shuttle environmental control systems. Over the course of my career, I’ve drawn on this practical background to advise clients on all aspects of intellectual property, and I have represented clients in patent litigation in Federal Courts and before the International Trade Commission.

Favorite App: I enjoy the Shutterfly app as it allows me to effortlessly upload photographs—many chronicling my family life—to their website which I then into photo books or prints at my leisure.

Daily Reads: I begin my day with a read of a hard copy of the Boston Globe or The Wall Street Journal (as I still like sharing the newspaper in tangible form with my husband) to keep up with news.

Favorite Book: I'm currently reading Doing Justice: A Prosecutor's Thoughts on Crime, Punishment, and the Rule of Law by Preet Bharara.

Off the Clock: I enjoy yoga, which I practice at least once a week in a class setting and daily by myself. A daily jog with my Labrador starts my morning off on the right note.
