Scott Scharf

I enjoy working with start-ups and supporting their efforts to build new things that people love. 

Experience: I advise companies on general corporate matters, venture capital financings and M&A transactions. My clients span the technology industry, including software, aerospace & defense, clean tech, ecommerce, fintech, edtech, digital health & healthcare IT and robotics. As outside general counsel, I enjoy “being in the room” with founders, investors and advisors working together to bring new things to market. I also enjoy working on financial transactions that provide the capital needed to execute on that vision.

Rewarding experience: All early-stage companies hit rough patches, and some of the most rewarding experiences involve helping clients overcome those hurdles, often navigating difficult and time sensitive transactions.

Off the clock: I play a weekly pickup soccer game and otherwise mostly follow along with my two young daughters in their sports and hobbies.

Memorable travel: My family travels to Denmark most summers to visit my wife’s family; I find something new and interesting every time.
