The Connected Things 2020 conference will gather together corporate and startup leaders to uncover the opportunities and challenges at the intersection of IoT (Internet of Things) and AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning).
The value and potential of IoT and AI are undeniably linked. IoT has progressed far beyond simply connecting “things” to networks. Billions of connected sensors are now producing the vast amounts of data needed to train the machines and make AI better. Using AI in both enterprise and consumer IoT applications can further its utility by enhancing the ability to optimize and automate processes, perform predictive maintenance, save money, and create better customer experiences.
In the next 20 years, the combination of these two powerful technologies will turn vast amounts of data into something useful, driving what we’re calling “Insight Driven Computing.” These insights can be used to make autonomous driving safe, allow consumer IoT devices to securely work together, and make smart cities smarter.
Join MIT Enterprise Forum on Monday, March 23, 2020, at the MIT Media Lab where they will discuss:
- How AI/ML, analytics, IoT governance, networks, sensors, devices, and platforms will evolve
- What new use cases will emerge?
- Where the IoT and AI bets will be placed
- What will the landscape look like in 2040?
