LMG Life Sciences Names WilmerHale Life Cycle Firm of the Year and Lisa Pirozzolo General Patent Litigator of the Year

Lawyers from across the United States and Canada gathered on September 13 at the Essex House in New York to celebrate the annual LMG Life Sciences Awards, recognizing the 2017 top firms and legal professionals in the life sciences industry. WilmerHale was recognized as the Life Cycle Firm of the Year and Partner Lisa Pirozzolo was honored as New England General Patent Litigator of the Year. In addition, the firm was awarded one of five Finance and Transactional Impact Cases of the Year for counseling Editas Medicine in its licensing and collaboration with Allergan—a deal that was led by Partners Steve Barrett and Rosemary Reilly.
LMG Life Sciences, a legal directory guide focusing on US law firms and attorneys who work with life sciences companies, is produced by the Legal Media Group and its editorial structure is divided into categories that cover traditional practice areas that relate to life sciences. Research for the publication was based on interviews and surveys completed by leading lawyers and clients who are active in the market.
