Butlr Secures $38M in Series B Funding

On August 26, 2024, Butlr Technologies Inc., a physical AI (PAI) that uses ceiling-mounted sensors to detect individuals’ body heat to track where a person walks and where they might go next, announced its Series B funding round of $38 million. With by Foundry, Tectonic Ventures, E14 Fund, Hyperplane Ventures and Union Labs Ventures, the funding round will be used to meet the increasing demand for its sensors and anonymous data, which can be used in any building to better understand how humans interact in a space.
The WilmerHale team advising Butlr consisted of Joe Wyatt, Frances Mosley, Sharon Baek and Amanda Rossetta.
